Senior Lean Manufacturing Manager

Role Summary: The TDI Lean Leader role will be focused on training employees in lean processes and tools and executing sustained lean projects and improvements at the site. The TDI Lean Leader will integrate lean processes throughout the facility driving quality, cost & productivity improvements. As the TDI Lean Leader, you will be involved in long-term strategic planning, contribute to the overall business strategy, and be an integral part of the supply chain leadership team. Essential Responsibilities: Work with operating leaders and teams at the site to develop a future state vision for each flow line along with strategic action plans to realize the site vision Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional teams Empower to execute the Lean Six Sigma strategy and tools to improve process capability Eliminate defects Reduce lead time and Improve flow Communicate progress to both site and external leadership Communicate to Corporate Supply Chain Lean Leader on a regular schedule the progress and roadblocks driving the Lean Six Sigma program Serve as a change agent in institutionalizing Lean Six Sigma - seek, share, and implement best practices Facilitate, educate, coach and mentor all levels of team members in the use of Lean Six Sigma philosophy and application Communicate recommendations and solutions across direct organization and with cross functional partner organizations Lead the transfer of knowledge of value stream mapping, one-piece flow, Action Workouts, Kaizen, 5s, and other lean tools Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering from an accredited college or university Minimum of 7 years of shop operations experience (Including a minimum of 3 years of experience in leading a Lean or Lean Six Sigma transformation) Desired Characteristics: Additional leadership experience in the areas of Operations, Manufacturing, or Quality Corporate Training Program graduate (Manufacturing / Operations / Engineering) Big picture thinker that can thrive in a matrix environment Green belt or Black belt certification preferred Excellent presentation skills Demonstrated ability to excel in all customer service areas Responsible for meeting customer / business needs Strong oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Experience in a digital site environment Lean Culture change agent Established project management skills and team leadershipexperience GE is one of the largest employers in the U.S., with its global headquarters based in Fairfield, CT and 134,000 U.S. employees as of the end of 2012. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
