Business Development Director

Description Research, analyze, develop and execute commercial plans to grow the Johnson Electric Industry Products Group (IPG) in the Americas and our solenoid business in the global market. Understand the application potential for solenoid technologies and create compelling business cases for targeted customer segments to adopt or switch to the Johnson Electric portfolio of products. Partner closely with our sales channels to ensure they are efficiently pursuing the right opportunities and with Product Management to guide the strategic plan for long-term growth through product development. Responsibilities include: Research the applications where solenoid technology can be used to satisfy a customer need Analyze the business potential for customer segments, assess competitive offerings and strategies, and understand customer decision making criteria. Develop commercial plans that can be used by the sales channels to target, reach, and communicate the value proposition of Johnson Electric's solenoid technologies. Execute marketing plans by creating messages and materials to support the strategic and commercial plans for the solenoid business. Participate and contribute to the Discover Driven Planning process for the solenoid business to provide clarity on the long-term business growth. Assess the competitive offerings and promotional strategies to create differentiated value propositions which grow Johnson Electric's market share in the solenoid business. Identify and build relationships with key executives within targeted customers and industries that will result in new business wins for Johnson Electric. Manage and track business wins, engineering and commercial changes, and applyfinancial analysis in evaluating various choices. Partner with sales leaders to develop product sales strategies and plans via internal collaboration and customer relationship management. Perform financial analyses to support business case recommendations and assess the health of the solenoid business. Ideate and create innovative messaging and communication tools (e.g., customer presentations, customer relationship management campaigns, etc.) that result in revenue growth. Support and lead where appropriate in winning the business of new large customers and customer segment categories to grow the IPG Americas business. Requirements Minimum Qualifications: BachelorDegree Five + years of sales or marketing experience Previous market development or business development experience (e.g., launching new products, developing new markets or expanding product applications)

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
