Stacker Operator

Nesco Resource is looking to hire Stacker Operators for a company in Vandalia, OH.?
SUMMARY: Operates automatic Stacker to restack and inspect coated metal. Strap and wrap finished lithography sheets for shipment. This position is hourly non-exempt with no supervisory responsibilities. This position is subject to overtime.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be
assigned.
1. Operate automatic Stacker to restack coated sheets.
2. Inspect coated sheets for scratches, dents, bad lithography etc.
3. Accurately complete all necessary inspection forms and required documentation.
4. Assist Coaterman in Coater wash-up.
5. Strap loads of metal for safe removal by trucker.
6. Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of the Stacker work area.
7. Perform quality checks and tests as necessary or when instructed.
8. Report and document machine malfunctions to supervisor.
9. Lubricate equipment as directed or required.
10. Must follow proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous waste in accordance with State and Federal laws.
11. Perform miscellaneous tasks as determined by supervisor or Coaterman.

13. Travel is required as needed for this position.
14. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Better than average mechanical ability.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Valid Driver's License, which meets Company requirements of the Fleet Management Policy and insurance requirements.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The equipment used include automatic stacker, bundle turner, hand tools and tape measure. Will handle coatings and wash-up solvents. Will handle loads of metal weighing approximately 4,000 pounds on conveyors.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
