Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer
Job Description: The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible to provide technical design leadership on assigned electrical design projects & lead the design from concept to production involving significant scope and complexity.
Essential Responsibilities include:
1. Design, test and troubleshooting skills in all aspects of electric and electronic design, including, but not limited to, magnetics, EMI / EMC compliance, analog electronics, digital electronics, and power electronics.
2. Work with a team of systems, software, electrical, mechanical and manufacturing engineers on multidisciplinary projects related to electric power conversion, supporting the needs for product development (requirements, design, troubleshooting, test, qualification, etc.)
3. Conduct experimental tests and evaluate results, including electromagnetic compliance (EMC), electromagnetic immunity (EMI), as well as various electrical & environmental tests
4. Support resolutions of challenging technical issues related to electrical power conversion products such as AC / DC generator systems, drive converters/inverters and communicate findings to a diverse technical range of audience.
