SUMMARY
Prepares production schedules for the business unit and production organization. Draws up a master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet completion dates. Coordinates and organizes level loading practices to ensure optimization of production flow customer deliver requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Create schedule for the production teams to meet customer demand. Create a level-loaded schedule for outsource and manufacturing, verifying material availability.
Support assigned production teams in order to meet customer delivery dates, managing the capacity for long-term planning.
Maintain data accuracy within ERP system and follow-up on applicable Action/Exception messages.
Responsible to arrange orders into a sequential work schedule.
Examines production specifications and capacity data, and performs planning and calculations to achieve production processes.
Act as the point of contact for scheduling issues. Review production schedules and related information with department supervisors to validate accuracy.
Prioritize order release per material availability and customer requirements. Communicate job priorities, delivery commitments and potential problems to Production Planning Group Team Leader.
Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to established production sequences and lead times.
Practices lean manufacturing principles.
Prepares production reports.
Incorporates total quality management practices. Includes development and practicing of ISO requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university; or one to two years? related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Excellent communication skills. Ability to effectively use MS Office and ERP software. Ability to understand ISO policies, procedures and work instructions. Ability to understand Good Manufacturing Practices. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, purchase orders and contracts, and operating procedures. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
APICS and/or CPIM certification desired.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
