Summary:
Responsible for the design and development of manufacturing processes for new products and for manufacturing changes and enhancements to new and existing products. Directs, oversees, and utilizes functional authority of operation, planning, organization, control, and completion of process related activities of engineering projects and products.

Technical:
New product development, layout the manufacturing process incorporating all aspects of product design criteria.
Direct activity for Engineering ? directs improvement activities across facility, and directs other engineers on their improvement activities.
Identify, assess, and participate in continuous improvement opportunities using proven technical engineering tools and programs.
Participates with quotes for sales as requested. Quotes include part entry, proper method of manufacturing creation and coordination with scheduling for lead time prior to release.
Direct design for Manufacturability (DFM) analysis / expert for Engineering on new & existing orders.
Improving existing operations, incorporating new methods and processes.
Oversees preparation and control of department budget.
Investigating operational problems affecting production and dealing with them in a systematic, methodical manner.
MRP knowledge and experience within manufacturing processes.
Oversees compilation of cost control and statistical data.
Directs the coordinating projects. Conducts meetings with other team members.
Directs the formulation and implementation of overall objectives, polices, plans, and programs.
Working with engineering and other departments to produce cost estimates for new designs. Identifying ways to reduce production costs of legacy and new products.
Understanding and analyzing graphs and statistics and other complex information.
Giving presentations to engineers and colleagues in other departments.
Liaising with suppliers and customers.
Workings with regulatory bodies to ensure safety, environmental and design standards are met.

Leadership:
Provides direction and mentoring to Project Managers within Engineering.
Effectively coordinate resources within Engineering to accommodate production schedules, manage project plans and ensure appropriate communication.
Lead and/or participate in pre-production planning and post-production assessment processes.

Communication:
Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders regarding status, timing and production or manufacturing issues impacting the project.
Communicate with others throughout the organization to provide regular updates
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Prefer Masters degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or other related Engineering disciplines. Five to ten years? experience as a Project Manager or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong knowledge of CNC milling/turning and secondary operations such as but not limited to burring, blasting and passivation
Disciplined in cad software, expert in use of Solid-works.
Working knowledge of Quality analytics tools including but not limited to SPC, FMEA, PFMEA preferred.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints.
Excellent knowledge of GD&T and its application
ASQ certification and PE (Professional Engineer) certifications are desirable.

Language Skills: Excellent communication skills
Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
