Summary:
The Quality Technician is responsible for conducting testing procedures, using various measuring instruments, throughout the manufacturing process to ensure all products comply with the customer's quality standards.
If defects or irregularities are found, these must be reported immediately to floor supervisor and root cause investigation should ensue.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities are as outlined below but not limited to the following:
Monitor, Inspect and audit all parts coming off the machines for compliance and that parts being assembled and packaged meet compliance as well Minimize Scrap Conduct 100% audits on mandated part numbers Enter scrap data daily from every machine in production log Train shift Personnel on part quality and document Notify all problems, assist in identifying and document corrective action Mark all Scrap, Parts, material, regrind, color with the appropriate tags
Qualifications:
This position requires a working knowledge of all facets of the Injection Molding process High School education Minimum of 3 years proven success in the industry Good written and communication skills Experience in Plastic Injection Molding is a PLUS! Work Environment/Hazards:
Operate independently (in a team environment) any injection molding machine, grinder or other small equipment used in the production of injection molded products.
Must have a working knowledge of all parts being produced.
