We have partnered with a manufacturing company situated in the northern region of Dayton on a search for an Assistant Controller.
With a global presence spanning across the nation and substantial international sales, this role offers a pivotal connection to management and opportunities for advancing accounting competencies.
Collaborative Senior Accountants or Accounting Managers with adaptability are encouraged to apply.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ASSISTANT CONTROLLER:
Conduct daily bank reconciliations and accurately record bank transactions in the general ledger.
Prepare monthly journal entries and meticulously reconcile detailed balance sheet accounts.
Compile and submit monthly reporting packages.
Review, reconcile, and document bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll activities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS OF THE ASSISTANT CONTROLLER:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Recent proficiency in SAP is a must.
